A Kendall Oberto Recipe
Classic Hot Toddy
I am blessed enough to have wonderful girlfriends. Since my "tribe" and I have been together now for many years, it is always a challenge to come up with a unique idea for the small gifts that we exchange at the holidays. Here's one I prepared a few years ago. I started with some beautiful pottery hand warmer mugs and filled them with all the components of a hot toddy including.A lemonSome lemon tea bagsA few packets of lemon juice (yes, you can find these at the grocery store)A travel size bottle of honey whiskeyA few honey sticksA few cinnamon sticksI then printed out a card for this recipe and attached it to the completed kit. Of course the hot toddy was fleeting but the lovely mug was a great longer term gift. Use your imagination, I can see hot chocolate mix, with marshmallows and peppermint schnapps or do a non-alchoholic cold buster version with powdered cold medicine (like TheraFlu). This recipe come from cookiesandkate.com.
