The Faherty brand co-founded by two brothers Alex and Mike Faherty and their sister Kerry, who heads up the Native Initiative. Kerry is a lawyer with a background in human rights, she seeks to make the clothing space better and tries to end appropriations in the fashion industry.
Faherty’s style is simple and durable however, their cut and quality are unmatched. Recently the brand added guest designer Steven Paul Judd, a Kiowa-Choctaw artist, writer, and filmmaker. His style combines pop culture with Native traditions.
I received this incredible sweater for a surprise Christmas gift this year. I had wanted this sweater since it came out in September. Knowing it was designed By Steven Paul Judd and produced by Faherty I knew it was going to be off the charts great quality. When I went to get it…it was sold out. But where there is a will there is way and my darling fella found it and gave it to me for Christmas.
This beautiful duster is made from Alpaca wool and is over sized with braided drawcords that come off the hood. A relaxed knit and flowing silhouette flatters you and adds a touch of rustic to your outfit. I styled it with a Banana Republic light wool hooded sweater and non-other than a pair of “Miss Me” wide leg distressed brown jeans. I added gold inexpensive earrings, and Charlotte Stone, grommet studded, black pebbled clogs.
Unfortunately the sweater is out of stock however, Faherty has other treasures from Steven Paul Judd Thunderbird on their site
