What kind of fabulous do you get when you mix a new tank dress from Target and a pair of Larroudé platform mules together? Insane Fabulousness.

That is exactly what I did with this outfit. I’m head over heels for this new tank dress from Target brand Universal Thread. A rib knit maxi dress that has a cotton-blend fabric plus, added spandex to keep it from losing its form throughout the day. I love the crew neck and the small slit on the side for added flair. Larroudé company was started in 2020 by seasoned fashion designer Marina Larroudé and her husband Ricardo Larroudé. The company has received countless industries accolades most recently, the Most Innovative Companies of 2024 and Brand of the Year Award.

Once I had the dress and shoes ready to go I styled the rest of the outfit. I choose earrings and bracelet from Target they were playful and a tidge understated given I wanted the shoes and dress to stand out. However, given it was July and July 4th was looming I choose a navy ShortyLove Bag to add to my look. I finished the entire look with a pair of Caddis life sunglasses in Hooper style.

Dressing in the hi/low fashion is all about mixing and matching styles, finding things in your closet that may have been a high priced item and pairing it with a low end item that has quality and style. Plus, it is a way to show your creativity and enjoying fashion without limits.
