Dramatic Grace Outfit

There are dresses that do more than cover the body; they alter the rooms atmosphere. This red jacquard feathered dress is one of them. It doesn’t shout for attention so much as invites it to linger. It’s a dress that asks for presence without demanding it.

What makes this dress remarkable is the texture, the finesse, and the color. The jacquard texture has a very subtle weave that’s pattern doesn’t shout at you but rather shifts with your every move which makes it come alive. The finesse of the feathers adds drama but not enough to make the dress theatrical. The red color of the dress is bold but not reckless but says you made an effort for the occasion.

As I went to go style this outfit I instinctually knew “less was more”, and I choose no jewelry at all. The dress was the main attraction and I was not going to take anything away from that fact. However, the shoes were a different story.

I styled the dress with a pair of Sarah Flint shoes from a former season but I’ve linked this year’s red Sarah Flint shoe below for you.

Remember if you want to wear the unexpected dress or outfit, its less about it shouting “hey, look at me” and more about it inviting the room to lean in and discover the story unfolding with every step.
