Blazer Confidence Outfit

The House of OBrien is all about putting your best foot forward, being fearless, and feeling good as much as looking good.

Many of you are going back to “in person” rather than “work from home,” in the work place. We thought we would put together outfits for you and show you some great brands you can shop for to look magnificent walking through the office doors once again.

Simple is always better. When buying new pieces for work make each piece simple but versatile. Every piece in this outfit can be used in many different outfits and many different styles.

The pencil skirt is from LuluLemon. It is looks tight but the material is the same as their leggings, the skirt has stretch but doesn’t bag out, it keeps its shape. This skirt can be worn with a blazer, sweatshirt, t-shirt, or crop top.

Key Style Notes:

Choose an anchor color, I choose navy. My blazer, my shoes, and bag are all navy.

Pick a pattern difference, I used the navy color again but styled a navy and white striped shirt to pair with the main navy pieces.

Find a contrasting color to highlight your anchor color. I choose a beige skirt.

Now you can add your accessories to the outfit. I choose a gold necklace and earrings to accent the beige skirt, which then features the navy.

The beauty of this outfit is all the pieces are simple and well made so they look good all together in this outfit and can be used in many different combinations. This outfit also can be worn to a happy hour, after work or a work dinner.

The most important point, this outfit is comfortable. Let’s face it you will be at work for a considerable amount of time and being in uncomfortable clothes makes for a long day at the office. So welcome back to “in-office” let’s dress up and put our best foot forward.
