I took my Hi/Low to the next level with a Luxe Moto jacket a sweater from Target and bold jewelry and it worked. The leather in the jackets sharp edge meets the soft knit sweater gave this outfit a fabulous contrast without being too over the top.

I do love playing with the contrasting energy differences all in the same outfit. Take for instance, my pants are clean lines and simple but my jewelry is layered and full of bold colors and glamour.

I choose black clogs from Charlotte Stone that had gold grommets (that are in the shape of flowers), the black, in the clog, complimented the black Moto jacket, the gold grommets complianted the gold necklace (from Roxanne Assoulin). This outfit could be worn to lunch in the city or in a little town. I would wear this to the grocery store or just out shopping.

Play around with your expensive items in your closet add an item that seems unexpected and maybe a lower ticket item like this sweater and see all the delightful combinations you can come up with, you may surprise yourself.
