August Metcon Workout

Metcon workouts are a powerful tool for building fitness quickly and efficiently. These workouts blend cardio, strength, and functional movements into high-intensity sessions that can fit well into a busy life style. The Workout:

2 Rounds of 15 minutes of all 6 exercises a total of 30 minute workout.

  1. Burpee-broad jump x15
  2. DB (dumbbell) Thrusters x15
  3. Knee up twisting AB x15 each knee
  4. DB Swings x10 (heavy weight)
  5. DB Alternating Reverse Lunge x20
  6. Split squat jumps x20

This workout is intense, time efficient, and builds power. You end up metabolizing your energy systems efficiently. You elevate the heart rate with strength moves and functional performance. You can scale your workout down in weight if you are beginner or increase your weights if you are an elite athlete.
