Berries in White Chocolate
This recipe comes from Ina Garten the Barefoot Contessa. I've made this for several dinner parties and for a quick dessert in a pinch. Its quick and easy but simply delicious.
Ingredients
- berries of your choice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 10 ounces good white chocolate chopped or good white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla
Instructions
- In double boiler pan heat the water in the lower pan to a simmer. In the upper pan place the heavy in cream , white chocolate and vanilla in to heat up and melt the white chocolate. DO NOT BOIL.
- Place the berries or frozen berries in a martini glass or champagne glass or a small dessert plate. Pour the White Chocolate over the berries to cover.
