Bosu Ball Ab Workout

The Bosu ball gives you enhanced core stability and variety in your ab workouts.

The Bosu ball has an unstable surface that forces you to engage your ab muscle more than if you were just laying on the ground. It actually activates your deep core muscles. This increased activation helps to improve overall core stability, which can help your performance in other activities and reduce the risk of injury.

You can do a wide range of exercises that can target different muscle groups while keeping your workouts fresh and exciting. You can perform dynamic movements and static holds, which not only challenges your core but also helps prevent workout monotony.

Equipment

Yo Gorilla Mat/ BOSU Ball

The Workout

3 Rounds of 4 exercises with 30-60 second break in between each exercise

  • Slow Crunch x20
  • Crunch Pulse x20
  • Tuck-Ins x20
  • HOLD-Mountain Climbers x20

You want your booty on the end of the BOSU ball. Once you are in position tuck your pelvic bones under and pull your abs in as you squeeze in the ab contraction. In other words make sure when you come up in the movement you are pushing your abs in not out and your lower back is firmly on the BOSU ball.

Enjoy!!
