Recently, I’ve encountered several people experiencing back pain. Many of them do not work their core at all. They all have expressed they know IF they did core strength workouts their back issues would clear up. This is true.
I suffer from sever back issues, I was born with them, so I’ve dealt with back issues all my life. I will say continual core work has improved my back issues more than anything else.

I will admit when I’m not consistently doing core work I’m very susceptible to back injuries. 3-4 days a week I work my core for about 5-10 minutes. Very doable and very effective.

Your core controls just about every movement you do daily such as bending, twisting, and lifting. Developing core strength makes these daily tasks easier and reduces the strain on other parts of your body.
The Workout:
3 Rounds of 5 exercises
- Plank Holds for 30 secs each
- Mason Twists x20 reps
- Heels to the Heavens x15 reps
- Hip Raises x15 reps on each side (right) (left)
- Knees to Elbows x15 reps each side (right) (left)
Consistency is key to any workout program so if you can add this workout into your weekly workout routine that’s a win. Continue that for two weeks and then add this workout again so you are doing two core workouts a week. If you see improvement keep going with the two core workouts a week, if you feel you need more add this workout or any of our HOB ab workouts and see how you feel. You will notice a great improvement in your daily life.
