I always say “fashion is a form of self-expression and art.”

I like to use my creativity by putting together outfits that express my kind of style. I’ve held that line forever. In fact, in high school I asked for a pair of Ralph Lauren riding boots and the first time I wore those boots to school I got teased quite a bit but that never bothered me (thank goodness).

I want to persuade you to dress the way you feel your best and most inspired. It might not be what’s trendy but don’t worry about that keep true to YOU.

I get inspiration from everywhere, this outfit was inspired by a Doris Day Movie.

The dress in the movie sparkles but subtle and slightly shimmering.

I took a gorgeous skirt from Anthropologie, that sparkled and shimmered, and styled it with a cream sweater that didn’t take the stage away from the skirt but rather made it shine more.

I choose a pair of Sarah Flint silver perfect pumps to help the Anthropologie skirt shine. The faux fur coat not only was needed to keep me warm, it took the whole outfit up a notch in chic glamour. I grabbed a pair of Bauble Bar earrings from Target to tie the entire outfit together and I was ready for an evening out on the town.
