Farm Rio began 25 years ago by two friends, Katia Barros and Marcello Bastos. They started by opening a small booth in an independent market. Eventually they would open 86 stores across in Rio de Janeiro. In 2019, they opened stores in NYC, Miami & Los Angeles.

They were inspired by nature and felt it was their duty to give back. With each purchase in their stores, online or at authorized retailers, they donate the dollar amount equivalent to one tree planted. By the end of 2022, they donated 1,000,000 trees.

I was immediately attracted to this clothing because it had COLOR!! So many brands now either have tacky colors or drab colors in their clothing. Farm Rio has color and vibrance that looks like jewels or juicy fruit.

I choose a Kareena Woven Platform from Schultz in a neutral color so the dress could be the star of the show, Sojos sunglasses and earrings from Target brand A New Day, and finished the outfit with an Artsy Louis Vuttion bag.
