You have been asked out to dinner and the restaurant is upscale/casual what do you wear?
Sometimes that middle of the road outfit can be one of the hardest outfits to put together. I generally opt for the low effort pant, a more unique top, and eye-catching shoes.
This outfit I choose my new favorite pant from Spartina449, the Juliette flare jean. The jean is 5% spandex (which is fabulous because it has a ton of stretch), the bottom is frayed, and the fabric is ultra soft.
I then paired those pants with a fun shirt from Target that was light weight (for summer) and had fun puffy sleeves. To make the outfit just a little less casual I added earrings from Tuckernuck (netting lantern earrings), and the Anne Raffia platform sandal from Castaner.
To finish off the outfit I added sunglasses in a butterscotch color to off set the yellow in the shirt and a Tory Burch tote bag in a beautiful cream color. The outfit became comfy, versatile, appropriate, and low effort, but looked well thought out.
Last but not least I always style my outfits with a pair of readers and for this outfit I choose Caddis Miklos Readers in the color Tabby. You can use my code for 20% off your next pair of Caddis readers or sunglasses [ELIZABETH20].
