Introducing Victory Apparel

Victory Apparel was founded by Jay Coatta and his father John. They started the brand from a passion to create something meaningful and enduring. Unfortunately, in 2000, John passed away due to cancer and the brands momentum slowed down.

Fast forward to today, Jay’s children loved the idea and were deeply inspired by the mission to revive the brand and bring new life to it.

Jays daughter Izzy took the helm as creative director and the rest is history. I met Izzy years ago while training her to become a fitness coach. A true power house, Izzy has built this brand and continues to push forward.

Victory Apparel is designed around the historical Roman symbol Chi Rho.

Chi Rho was instrumental in the famous battle between Roman emperors and political foes Constantine and Maxentius. The night before the battle Constantine had a dream in which God instructed him to win the battle in the name of Christ. Then he was given the vision of the Chi Rho symbol which incorporates the first two Greek letters of Christ. Constantine went on win the battle and become emperor of the Roman Empire. He then instituted Christianity as the sole religion of Rome.

Victory apparel wants to embody the same strength, perseverance, and spiritual victory that comes through faith in Jesus. Just as Constantine’s victory was a testament to divine power, Victory apparel sees this symbol as a reminder of Christ’s enduring presence and power in our lives.
