Leg Day

Strong legs are important for everyday activities. Exercising your legs will make things like walking up stairs, carrying groceries, and playing with your kids much easier. Having strong legs helps support your entire body.

Leg exercises are great for bone health. Weight-bearing exercises like squats, lunges, and calf raises help strengthen your bones and can reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Equipment:

Yo gorilla Mat/ Dumbbells

Workout:

3 Rounds of all 4 Exercises taking a 30-60 break after each exercise.

Start out with YOUR lightest weight and with each Round go up in weight IF you keep your proper form. If YOUR form is compromised and you feel you are using your lower back or different body parts to execute the exercise go down in weight.

  • (Racked weights) Squats x20
  • (Racked weights) Alternating Lunges x20
  • RDL (Russian deadlift) x20
  • (Racked weights) Alternating Curtsy Lunges x20

Get through Round 1/take a 2 minute break/Hit Round 2/ take a 2 minute break/Hit Round 3

I would emphasize that consistently working legs is important for both functional strength and aesthetic results. Strong toned legs should be a training priority just like any other muscle group!!

Enjoy!!
