The shirt and skirt “set” was popular in the 1960’s and 1970′. During this era, woman sought out outfits that were both chic and easy to wear, favoring matching sets that offered a polished look without much effort. Today the “set” has had a resurgence, blending vintage inspiration with contemporary design.

Free People has introduced a shirt and pant “set” and the shirt and skirt “set”. In the modern landscape, the “set” continues to embody confidence, practicality, and style. The modern version features sleek fabrics, innovative cuts, and trendy patterns. This Free People “set” is called “Good Feels Tube Set”. Adding just a simple tube top (that is fully lined and has a lined grip at the top) creating an essence of chic to a very simple “set”.

A well chosen “set” can be understated yet refined. This “set” is simple but I wanted to make it more chic so I only added simple large hoop earrings from Target (linked below).
I added a large rimmed hat made out of baked palm leafs from Lack of Color brand (linked below), a former season necklace from Frances Valentine, and gorgeous wedges heels from Larroudé (linked below). Simple, hip, and very wearable.
