A crocheted Maxi is a slight step out of my comfort zone mainly because it is CROCHETED!! It struck me as a beach cover up (which you can use it as a beach cover up for sure), but I wore it with a long thin, spaghetti strap slip underneath and I was comfortable and the “crocheted” see-through factor was eliminated .

Styling this elegant whimsical dress with a pair of cognac colored suede mid-rise boots just gave it that tiny hint of masculine flare. I also paired the outfit with hop earrings from Target that have tiny beading on them in the color family of the boots, which accentuated the cognac color of the boots even farther.
