Sometimes a maxi dress can look like you are wearing a tent but this Faherty Ella Maxi dress is a dream.
It is cut so eloquently it flows but is not boxy. The bodice is smocked but not super thick with material. Charming and comfy this dress can be worn for casual evenings at the cabin or for a quaint dinner out on the town.

I styled this dress for a special dinner out on the town so I dressed it up a bit. I paired Castañer heeled sandals that had just a faint stripe of the same blue from the dress so the shoe didn’t over power the dress itself. I choose very expressive earrings from Tuckernuck however, their color was a cream that had hues of blue in them so they too didn’t over power the dress, given the dress was muted and chambray blue.

Fun bracelets are always a great add on to any outfit especially this one. I also did something I don’t see very often any more, I ironed the dress before I wore it. It took me exactly 3 minutes to iron the dress and it looks exponentially better than if I hadn’t ironed it. Use your iron people.

Finally, the coup de grǎce or icing on the cake I paired the whole outfit with my new pair of Caddis life sunglasses the Hoopers. The Hooper sunglasses are vintage style, lightweight frame design, last seen in a gas line in 1973!!
