In the 1970’s the Frye boot company introduced the “campus boot” in the color banana. It represented freedom and rebellion. The boot has had a huge resurgence and now it is one of the hardest piece of footwear to come by. Thankfully, I own 2 pair and one happens to be in the iconic banana color.
