Lucchese boots was founded by Salvatore Lucchese in 1910. Landing in Galveston, Texas by ship Salvatore Lucchese and his brother Joseph. They move to San Antonio, Texas and start a boot making company that local ranchers, cavalry, and professional rodeo riders wear. Soon the word spreads about the craftsmanship and quality of Lucchese boots, so much so an actress in Hollywood, Josephine Hutchinson, purchases a pair of Lucchese boots. After that more and more famous and not so famous purchase and rely on Lucchese boot makers for their boots.
Today they are the most famous (well made) boots made. The Official boot of the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and the Santa Barbara Polo Team Lucchese boots have stood the test of time. In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger purchased the 125th Anniversary pair of Lucchese boots.
My personal favorite Lucchese boot is the Priscilla (that may be biased given I love Elvis). The Priscilla boot is tall, elegant, and seems to have a bit of a vintage look all at the same time. I would call this look cowgirl chic.
I styled my Priscilla’s with distressed step fray hemmed Mother Denim jeans, a slim fit tank top from Target, and the Baja hat from Lack of Color. My cow-hide bracelet is from Rugged Wrist . My earrings are also from Target A New Day brand.
