Herve Leger is known for their “bandage dress” but this little number popped up and it was too good to pass up. The Ruched Jersey One Shoulder Midi Dress is light weight and flows ever so slightly. Easy to wear and easy to style this dress caught my eye right away. Herve Leger brand was founded by Herve Peugnet, who studied under Karl Lagerfeld and eventually designed for Fendi, Chanel, and Lanvin, a young up and coming designer with wicked talent. He started his own brand with the iconic “bandage dress” and the world went crazy.
Unfortunately, Hervé Peugnet passed away very young and the brand was acquired by MaxMara. However, Herve Leger has been able to keep the integrity of the original brand and the dresses are just as beautiful and elegant as they ever were.
I styled this dress with a pair of Sarah Flint suede navy perfect pumps and shorter fur coat to highlight the slit in the dress and the Sarah Flint shoes and former season pair of J.Crew earrings.
