This summer in Minnesota we have been robbed of the sun. Either it has rained or the skies have been clouded by smoke from the Canada wild fires. That’s pertinent to this post because on the days we are blessed with blue skies and lemony sun shine we take wild advantage of it.
I got all dressed up, to dine outside, for this sun shinny occasion in a cotton candy pink strapless maxi dress from Runway Scout. Dining out in Minnesota is also rare given we usually have cold weather for easily 7-9 months out of the year.
The soft pink maxi was easy and breezy so when we sat outside I didn’t get too hot. But I didn’t want to style the dress with a shoe that took anything away from the dress but was bold and could shine its own. I choose the new Castañer Sandal called the Fruamba. It is a stunning shoe to say the least, hand crafted in Spain and has a jute heel.
I wanted a little bit pop in my jewelry so I grabbed gold and faux pearl hoops from Target that, again, didn’t over power the rest of the outfit and added just a touch of dimension to the outfit.
I also paired the outfit with a, former season, J.Crew bracelet that just grabbed the color of the pearls in the earrings perfectly. The cherry on top of the outfit was the Caddis Life readers I paired with the outfit. The D28’s in the color Terrapin.
