Upper Body Workout

Upper body workouts not only build strength but they give you gorgeous muscle tone and definition. Enhancing your appearance but also improving your performance when you do regular daily activities is just one of the great benefits of upper body workouts.

I love this workout it is quick and efficient. If you don’t own a step or a bench use a sturdy chair for the plank bench rows.

Equipment:

Yo gorilla Mat/Dumbbells/bench

The Workout:

3 Rounds of all 3 Super Sets. Supers sets are 2 exercises done back to back without a break. In this workout there are 3 Super Sets. Your break should be about 30-60 seconds.

Super Set #1

  • Chest Press x8
  • Plank Bench Row x8

Super Set #2

  • Shoulder Press x8
  • Row-Plank Bear Crawl x8

Super Set #3

  • Tricep Kickbacks x8
  • Tricep Straight Arm Kickbacks x8

Try to get through 3 Rounds of these Super Sets.

Hydrate while you are taking a break.

Have small/medium/heavy weights. In Round #1 use your lightest weight and see how well you execute the exercise. If you get through the Round fine go up in weight. If in the next Round your form is compromised stay at that weight if you get through Round #2 fine go up in weight for Round #3.
