- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup melted unsalted butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
Mix flour, brown sugar, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl of a kitchen aid mixer. Combine buttermilk, butter, and vanilla in a bowl and mix well. NOTE: I use a kitchen aid mixture fitted with paddle attachment.Stir in the flour mixture and let stand for 20 minutes. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto a hot buttered griddle for each pancake. NOTE: If you want to make blueberry pancakes or chocolate chip pancakes sprinkle whichever you're using on the side of the pancake that is going to get flipped. I use Maple Syrup from the Minnesota Arboretum I will link that too.HAPPY EATING!!
