- Sugar cookie dough-either store bought or homemade
- 1.7oz whipped cream cheese (I used mixed berry)
- Fruit topping of your choice (I used strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi)
Shape cookie dough into a circle like a pizza. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake according to the directions for sugar cookies or the directions on the store made cookie dough. Do not overcook. When the cookie is done baking, let it cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter. This allows the cookie to firm up a little reducing the chance of breaking. Let cool.Once the cookie is cool, spread cream cheese over the cookie. You will use about ½ to ¾ of the cream cheese depending on the size of your pizza. While the cookie is baking and cooling, prepare your fruit toppings. Clean and pat dry with paper towel. Slice bigger fruit.Arrange fruit on the pizza from the outside in. Refrigerate until ready to serve. If you have extra sugar cookie dough, cook according to the directions.Lesson Learned:Make your pizza the appropriate size for the group you are serving because this dessert does not save well - the cookie gets soggy. The pizza I made in the picture was about 50% too big for4 people.Happy Eating!!
