Legendary Crab Rounds
This is another winner from the Creme de Colorado cookbook.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 cup grated onion
- 6 drops tabasco sauce
- 1 6.5 oz can crabmeat, drained
- 2 French Bread Baguettes, sliced 1/2" thick
- black pepper
- parsley-chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated onion, cheddar cheese, Tabasco, curry powder and crabmeat. (This may be made 1 day in advance.) To serve, place mixture on bread rounds, sprinkle with a little pepper, and broil until golden brown. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve immediately. Makes 50 to 55 rounds.HAPPY EATING!!
