What is a tea dress? Think of a tea dress as an everyday dress just slightly elevated. The buttons are covered in fabric, the neckline has a small ruffle, and the pattern of the material is not a small understated check, it is a bold vibrant Fall colored check.

One of my favorite aspects of this dress from Boden is it is machine washable. No dry cleaning. You can wear this dress to work, out for lunch, or to church. I wore it to an event that was a cocktail hour/brand open house and it was the perfect choice. Not super fancy, not too casual, but put together and very stylish without trying too hard.

I styled this dress with loafers from Boden as well. The Platform Heeled Loafer in the color Oxblood. So comfortable and stylish. I’ve been looking for an excuse to wear these loafers wherever I go.

I made the decision long ago that my readers were my permanent must have accessory with whatever I wore. This outfit demanded the Fall color reader from Eyebobs called the Flight Risk.

I choose the Caramel Tortoise Fade Front color and it complemented the outfit like a dream.
