September dressing is at its best when summer and fall share the same outfit. This Anthropologie dress still has the ease and softness of summer, but the brown cowboy boots from the brand Dingo, give it just enough weight and attitude for the season ahead.

When I styled this outfit I wanted to give it a sophisticated rugged look so I choose jewelry from three of my favorite brands: Woodnoza, Rugged Wrist, and Silk Oak Designs (I will link them all below). All the jewelry is handmade and so special to me, but looked so well with casual upscale outfit.

Typically in September, I’m not quite ready to let go of summer, especially living in Minnesota. September feels like the sweet spot beautiful temperatures, soft cooler breezes, the leaves just begin to turn colors. You can still wear some summer clothing but now you can add more deep colored tons to your outfits.

You don’t have to rush into Fall. Sometimes the best outfits happen right in between.
