This chicken recipe is so easy and such a showstopper you will add it to your week night repertoire.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts-pounded down with the meat tenderizer-1/2 inch thick
- olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 bottle BBQ sauce (any kind you prefer)
- 2 tbsp honey
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° (I use the convection mode on my oven but it is not necessary). Pound down the chicken by placing the chicken in between two pieces of parchment paper and with a meat tenderizer, pound down the meat until it is the thickness you desire. Place Chicken on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. Drizzle olive oil over each piece of chicken followed by a drizzle of honey (this step is up to you how little or how much you desire). Salt and pepper to your liking then pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken (as much or as little as you like). Finally, cut the butter into 1 tbsp pats and place 2 tbsp of the butter on the top of each piece of chicken. Again, as little or as much you desire. Place in the oven for 35- 40 minutes.Happy Eating!!
