We all need some reliable “GO-TO” workouts, well, here is a kick-ass lower body “GO-TO” workout. I added in some arm exercises to cover almost the entire body during this workout.
Strengthening your lower body helps you in so many ways one of which is stabilizing you during the long winter. WHY? if you hit a patch of ice YOU will have a better chance of steading yourself and not falling.
- 1 arm thrusters x10 each arm
- Curtsy Lunge-medial delt raise x10 each leg
- Curtsy Lunge pulse x20 each leg
- Racked sumo squat x10
- Sumo deadlift x10
Leg day is a big workout day no matter how you slice it. Having a “GO-TO” leg workout is so efficient and takes the guess work out of deciding what exercises to do. Plus, you have the added bonus of some arm work in this workout.
