The brand was established in Miami, considered a luxurious brand to the locales. Mare Mare was named after the sea, in fact you may book a beachside trip after you put on this dress.

To style this look I took a vintage pair of Yves Saint Lauren gold shoes and built the look around them. The Mare Mare dress slipped on like glove and was light enough to flow beautifully, but given it was knit, it was heavy enough to not look bulky on me.

I grabbed a pair of amazon cat eye glasses in Navy and I was off.

The flowing length of this dress made it feel dramatic and very glamorous. It actually made me feel taller (which you know I’ll take wearing anything). You feel that beautiful presence and you feel dressed up but not overdone.

The bodice of the dress had a close fit but because there was a bit of stretch to fabric it didn’t look clingy or bulky. I would say the dress gave the allusion of far more slimming and sleek looking. It made getting dresses feel easy, not fussy.

I styled the dress with earrings from Tuckernuck (former season).

The outfit was wonderful to wear because it felt beautifully shaped through the top, then soft and flowing through the skirt, creating the perfect balance of structure and movement.
