In high school I was a cross country and track runner but in between those two sports, my best friends and I, joined the softball intramural team. Secretly, I had grown up a tomboy, playing T-Ball, and softball but decided running was more my sport around 9th grade. When I started playing on the intramural softball team I would wear my sweatpants and sweat shirts but I always wore big diamond earrings, much to the chagrin of my coach.
