I’m not one to chase trends. I don’t care about looking younger. However, I don’t want to look old and like I’m not trying. I always put my best foot forward and wear what I like, what looks good on my body type, and if a trend comes along that interests me I’ll give it a try.

I found this Anthropologie puff-sleeve mini dress and feel for almost immediately. The chocolate brown is so rich, but it is the white embroidery that makes it feel special. It has a slightly romantic, slightly vintage look that makes a simple dress feel much more interesting.

The puff sleeve, little collar, v-neckline, and embroidered detail give this dress so much personality. Yet somehow it still feels incredibly easy to wear. Nothing about it feels fussy.

I wore the dress with brown platform shoes because I wanted to stay in that beautiful tonal family and give the dress a little more attitude. You can easily wear it with flat sandals or a tall boot once the weather cools down.

Not chasing trends. Not trying to look younger. Just finding clothes that make you stand taller, feel prettier, and enjoy life exactly where you are.
