Master’s Golf Tournament 2026

I was fortunate to recently attend the 2026 Master’s Golf Tournament, how lucky do I feel?

There are certain places in life that leave a mark on you, not simply because they are beautiful, but because they make you feel something deeper. Attending the Masters was that kind of an experience for me.

To be there during the 90th year of this storied tournament was extraordinary. Yes, Augusta National was stunning. Yes, the course was pristine. Yes, the tradition was palpable in every direction. But what moved me most was the feeling of the place.

There was so much joy. There was reverence. There was respect. People were gracious to one another. They were present. No cell phones were allowed, in fact, if you brought a phone into the course, you would be banded for life from Augusta National.

That, to me, is what makes an experience unforgettable. It is not only the beauty of what you are looking at. It’s the character of what surrounds you.

In so many ways, the Masters felt like a reflection of what I care so deeply about at The House of OBrien.

Tradition matters. The way we show up matters. Beauty matters. Excellence matters. The small details matter.

Whether we are talking care of our bodies, the way we nourish people we love, or the way we dress and carry ourselves in the world, all of it says something. All of it shapes our experience.

The Masters understands that.

What makes this memory even more memorable and meaningful is how my “fella” Aaron and I got to be there in the first place. Collin Morikawa’s caddy, Mark Urbanek, and his gorgeous wife, Morgan, generously gave us tickets to attend. It was an extraordinary act of kindness, and one I will never forget.

Mark and Morgan, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity was deeply felt, and I am so grateful.

The Par 3 Contest is such a beautiful piece to the Masters story because it shows a softer, more personal side to the tournament. It allows the crowd to see the players not only as competitors, but as husbands and fathers too. The fact that it happens during the Wednesday practice rounds, with families on the course and cameras are allowed, gives it warmth and intimacy that feels different from the rest of the tournament week.

Some of the players brought along interesting caddies as well.

Bryson DeChambeau’s caddy was comedian Kevin Hart.

Akshay Bhatia’s caddy was former NFL center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce.

Part of the magic of the Masters is that it asks you to be present. There are rules, yes, but they protect something rare: a respectful, beautiful, old-school experience that feels wonderfully untouched by modern chaos.

No phones.

Cameras allowed on practice rounds days only not during the Tournament.

Autographs only in the designated areas.

One chair per patron.

Two entries into Augusta National per day max.

One of the most iconic parts of the Masters is the food still feels wonderfully untouched by modern madness-Pimento Cheese, Egg Salad, and the Masters Club sandwiches. All sandwiches are $1.50. Peach ice cream sandwiches, Coke, Beer, and water to drink. All items with very low price tags.

Finally, the outfits of the Masters. Everywhere you looked there was beauty but the “Masters-Style” this year was Southern Charm. Long dresses, playful floral prints, Sneakers, and straw hats.

Not fussy or overdone. Thoughtful, classic, and full of personality. Joyful and approachable which, I felt, mirrors the spirit of the Masters itself.

The Masters left me with so much more than beautiful memories. It reminded me that tradition still matters, that excellence and kindness can live side by side, and the way we gather, dress, eat and show up for a moment can make life feel richer.

From the joy of the Par 3 Contest, to the iconic food, to the grace and polish woven into the fashion, every detail felt thoughtful and full of heart. I left feeling grateful, inspired, and deeply aware that some experiences really do stay with you forever.

🌟Unfortunately, no Masters clothing is available anywhere but Augusta National Golf Course🌟
