A Push-up is a compound exercise meaning: it hits a multitude of muscle groups at the same time.

So, it is a hard exercise to execute properly and efficiently.

By tighting your glutes and abs while you’re lowering your body down you also are stretching your chest and front shoulders-you hit almost your entire body. When pushing upward in the push-up, you tighten your abs and glutes as well, but you squeeze your chest muscles and stretch your back.

  • 1 arm DB push-up (triceps focus) x25
