Once you find your style it haunts you forever.
My style is Preppy, Ralph Lauren, upscale BoHo chic so when I found this new brand called R13 designed by Chris Leba I was a fan.
It is very outside my realm of clothing and has a 80’s punk rocker flare, yet it has a Ralph Lauren hint to it. Ironically, Chris Leba spend 20 years designing for Ralph Lauren so it makes sense I was attracted to the brand. Chris also grew up in Montauk, NY hanging out on the beach so his designs have a surfer/grunge vibe as well, which aligns with my love of BoHo chic.
Unfortunately this dress is sold out however, I linked a J.Jill plaid dress in my shop. I encourage you to give R13.com a look/see. The clothes are so different and the cuts are rebellious, luxurious, and rugged, but make sense all at once.
I styled this dress with Jeffery Campbell western patent leather boots and earrings from Kendra Scott’s new Target collection.
Give a new type of outfit a try. Not something so far out of your comfort zone you feel silly, something that is in the same vein as your style with just a little somethin’ somethin’ different. You will be happy you did.
