Style is not about the price tag, it’s about the point of view. I love the incredibly cool look of this outfit however, it’s not trying too hard. The skirt and the tube top are from Target. The soft pale yellow is very feminine, easy, and little romantic. The minute you put it on you feel very sunshine-y.
But once you put on the Frye campus boots you suddenly shift the whole outfit.
It becomes cooler, stronger, more interesting.

A pretty skirt and shirt with rugged boots says “I know who I am.” It keeps the look from feeling precious and gives it a lived-in confidence.
Then comes the accessories, this is where the outfit comes alive and gets a personality. I added a Roxanne Assoulin bracelet and necklace which are both sophisticated and playful. A pair of Caddis sunglasses that are just cool, cool, cool. A bag from Haute Shores (I will link separately).
This is the kind of outfit that reminds us you do not need to dress in one category. You can be feminine and strong. Classic and cool. Polished and relaxed. You can wear a Target dress with investment boots and standout jewelry and look completely original.
That is the HOB way.
