For me, this Nicoblu look is exactly that. The soft pink Circe blouse, in blush pink, feels polished and feminine, while the sweeping printed Alexandra long skirt brings personality and movement. I added a wide brim hat, platform sandals, and a touch of jewelry. Suddenly, I had an outfit that felt special not stiff.

That is exactly what I wanted for a garden party. Beautiful. Comfortable. A little unexpected and fun.

As we get older, I think it becomes even more important to stop dressing for some imaginary set of rules and start dressing for the person we actually are.

You do not need to disappear into something “appropriate.” You do not need to dress like everyone else in the room. And you definitely do not need to wait until your body looks different to wear something you love.

If a full skirt makes you feel fabulous wear it.
