Wearing a trending item doesn’t mean you need to change your entire style to adhere to that trend. Take a trending piece and style it with an item that fits your way of dressing.
Here I took the new jean style from J.Crew and paired it with a top from Tuckernuck that has the preppy popped collar. A favorite style of mine from “back in the day” and is a signature preppy look.
Make sure the hem line of your pant doesn’t drag on the ground, factoring in, you will only wear these jeans with heels I didn’t get them hemmed, so my heel has to be the right height when I wear these jeans.
The jewelry, although not completely understated, doesn’t pop but adds depth to the outfit. Thus, not taking away from the fun flare of the jean.
